Research over the past 10 years makes a compelling case for older workers. But many employers haven’t gotten the message yet. Findings come from scattered sources and they are not easy to find and use. Until now. The Age-Friendly Employers Guide, developed by The Encore Network, gathers into a single, easy-to-use resource the benefits that older workers bring to employers, the policies and practices that age-friendly employers are using to attract and retain older workers, and insights into the motivations of older workers. It is designed for employers, but also for the professionals and groups they rely on and listen to, like recruiters, diversity leaders, workforce development professionals, career counselors, business association leaders, and others.
