People over 50 want to contribute to the economy and to society. They are an expanding resource, yet older adults are too frequently shut out of opportunities to use their experience, feel valued, and live financially secure lives. Members of the 50+ Employment Affinity Group are focused on changing how older workers are seen by employers.
We share resources and promising practices, learn from each other, and work together to change attitudes, behaviors, policies, and other barriers to paid work. This affinity group meets on the second Wednesday of the month, sets its own agenda, and draws from the expertise of its members.
If you have questions about the group, please contact Tim Lybarger or Doug Dickson.
