People over 50 want to contribute to the economy and to society. They are an expanding resource, yet older adults are too frequently shut out of opportunities to use their experience, feel valued and live financially secure lives. Members of the Over-50 Employment Affinity Group are focused on changing that prospect for older workers. We share resources and promising practices, learn from each other, and work together to change attitudes, behaviors, policies and other barriers to paid work,
This affinity group sets its own agenda and draws from the expertise of its members. It meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 12-1 pm ET (9-10 am PT). Co-facilitated by Tim Lybarger and Doug Dickson.
