We know that ageism in our society enables negative judgments about and limits opportunity for older adults; the same can be true for younger adults. We won’t eradicate ageism from our society unless we recognize how pervasive and corrosive it is across the age spectrum. During this session, Michael North, Assistant Professor of Management & Organizations at NYU Stern School of Business, will help us unpack this challenge. His research interests include ageism in the workplace and the growing multigenerational workforce with a recent focus on youngism, the impact of ageism on younger people. Professor North will be joined by a panel of younger and older adults discussing ways we can end ageism.
