Affinity Groups are a safe place that promotes diversity of membership, discourse, and perspective. The ultimate purpose of an affinity group is to spark new ideas, create influence, and take action. Participation in Affinity Groups is limited to active members of Encore Network.

The member-only 50+ Employment Affinity Group meets the first Wednesday of the month for an hour starting at 12 PM ET.  If you have questions about the group you can reach Doug at dougdickson17@gmail.com or Tim at encoreneo50@gmail.com.

The member-only Intergenerational Affinity Group meets the second Tuesday of the month for an hour starting at 12:30 PM ET.  The Intergenerational Affinity Group is a self-driven forum of the Encore Network, composed of Network members dedicated to linking the generations to create a better future for all.  We will gather regularly to share experiences, learn together and advocate together. We will take on a small number of relevant projects as merited.  If you have questions about the group you can reach Clint at clintwilkins@gmail.com.

The Building DEI Communities Affinity Group meets bi-monthly on the fourth Wednesday. The Affinity Group both supports and holds members accountable as we work to build more diverse, equitable and inclusive communities.  During our time together, we will share best practices, collaborate with partners, and educate ourselves as we focus particularly on older adults working to achieve greater racial equity in our society.  If you have questions about the group, please contact Kathy Hallissey khallissey@clevefdn.org.
